I completed both undergraduate and graduate school in Boston, where I spent the following ten years working in many different clinical environments including hospitals, schools, residential facilities, outpatient clinics, and private practice. I quickly realized that I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, their families, and young adults. I also have a very strong appreciation for parents and have found great success consulting on family organization, communication, and general dynamics within a home environment. I currently live in Portland with my husband, our children, and our 3 pets.

My approach is always tailored to meet each individual's unique needs. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, I strive to create a warm, safe environment and enjoy a collaborative relationship. My style is strength-based, utilizing an individual's current strengths as building blocks towards developing new techniques and skills. It is my goal to help clients feel confident and empowered in their lives. When working with children and families, I employ a zero-blame policy in which no one is identified as faulty.
